Capital City Eagles 6-5 Ibusa FC

In our first-ever 5-a-side match, we endured a narrow defeat against Capital City Eagles. We lost 6-5 in the friendly match, which is part of our preparation for the Capital League 2017.

We put up a spirited display against a more experienced side in the match, which took place at Planet Futsal, 38, IBM Haruna Way, Utako, Abuja.

Our sights are now set on further preparation ahead of the tournament, which kicks off on the 15th of July 2017.

Ibusa FC Unveils Club Crest

Ibusa FC is proud to unveil its official club crest. The crest was designed by Printhag, a Creative Design Agency based in Abuja.

The crest features our club colours – a cultural palette that is a combination of visually striking colours, which instantly create a unique identity:

  1. Delta Sky-Blue: This shade is unique to our home state – Delta State, and we are embedding the club into the daily, working-class fabric of the region.
  2. Anioma Coral: This is our premium accent colour. The rich, red-orange hue of traditional Anioma coral beads represents royalty, heritage, and the lifeblood of the community.
  3. Optic White: Our structural colour. White provides the necessary space to create crisp boundaries and ensures the badge is legible.

Ibusa to participate in Capital League 2017

We are set to feature in the 2017 edition of the Capital League. The tournament is Abuja’s premier 5-a-side football tournament, organised by Capital Futbol.

The league will commence on 15 July 2017 and run until 10 September 2017, with matches being played at Planet Futsal, 38 IBM Haruna Street, Utako, Abuja.

This will be our very first competition and we are excited and looking forward to the outing.
