Vacancy: Team Manager

We are looking for a Team Manager/Administrator.

Ibusa FC is a grassroots amateur football club, newly affiliated with the Delta State Football Association, and looking to participate in the Delta State League.

Please note:

The role is suited to an NYSC Corps member or a young person looking for experience in sports administration.

Our training venue is Ugwu-Atakpo Primary School, Ibusa, so your ideal location is Ibusa/environs.

Although it is not a full-time employment role, we offer a competitive monthly stipend and opportunities for training and personal development.

Welcome, Coach Ayaya!

Ibusa FC is pleased to announce the appointment of Chukwuemeka Asie, popularly known as “Ayaya MOG”, as the coach of the club ahead of our debut season in association football.

Coach Ayaya joins at an exciting moment in the club’s history — as we complete our transition from a 5-a-side team in Abuja to a full association football club here in Ibusa, Delta State. He brings firsthand experience of football at multiple levels, having played across Nigeria and in other parts of Africa. That background shapes how he approaches coaching — not as a technical exercise, but as an opportunity to give something back. “Having been a player both in Nigeria and other parts of Africa,” he said, “I decided to go into coaching” to pass on the skills and knowledge the game gave him.

His mandate is clear: to implement the club’s philosophy, build a cohesive squad from the ground up, and prepare the team for competitive football.

At Ibusa FC, we believe that great coaching is about more than tactics. It is about developing people — building confidence, discipline, and a genuine love for the game. Coach Ayaya shares that belief, and we are happy to have him at the club.

Welcome to Ibusa FC, Coach Ayaya.

Ibusa FC Officially Joins the Delta State Football Association

We are excited to announce that we have officially become affiliated with the Delta State Football Association (DFA).

This affiliation, confirmed via a letter dated 6th February 2026, marks our formal entry into association football. Through the DFA, Ibusa FC is now also officially affiliated with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and FIFA, placing our club on the global football map.

Since our beginning in 2017, we have grown from a passionate 5-a-side team in Abuja into a full-fledged association football club. Our relocation to our ancestral home in Ibusa, Delta State, was the first step; this official affiliation is the second.

This move allows us to compete in official football leagues and tournaments.

What This Means for Us:

As a social enterprise, Ibusa FC is about more than just what happens on the pitch. This affiliation strengthens our mission to use football as a tool for social development.

With our affiliation secured, we are ready to make our mark. We are now shifting our focus to squad building and community engagement.

We invite you all to join us on this journey.

Ibusa FC: Passion. Community. Excellence.

Ibusa FC Relocates to Delta State

What started as a 5-a-side team in Abuja is growing into something larger. Today, we are proud to announce a historic milestone: Ibusa FC has officially relocated to our ancestral home of Ibusa, Delta State.

This move isn’t just a change of address—it is the start of our transition into a full-fledged 11-a-side association football club.

As part of this transition, we have recently secured official affiliation with the Delta State Football Association (DFA) and will be competing in the Delta State League.

As we plant our roots in Delta State, we invite you to be part of this journey.

More Than Just a Club – Our Social Enterprise Mission:

Ibusa FC is unique. We operate as a social enterprise, which means that while we strive for victory on the pitch, our success is equally measured by our impact on the community.

Our mission is to provide an ideal platform to enjoy the benefits of participating in organised football. We believe sport is a tool to enhance well-being and shape individuals into confident, responsible, and successful members of society. Whether a player goes pro or not, we are committed to cultivating a lifelong love for the game and empowering them to reach their full potential.

Our Core Values:

As we settle into our new home, we carry our three guiding pillars with us:

Passion: We bring enthusiasm and commitment to everything we do.

Community: Using football as a force for positive change.

Excellence: We strive for the highest standards in all that we do.

A New Chapter Begins

We are thrilled to announce a milestone in the evolution of Ibusa FC. It is the beginning of our journey as a full-fledged 11-a-side association football club.

Our story began in 2017 in Abuja as a 5-a-side team. We spent those early years competing in small-sided tournaments.

Now, we are transitioning into 11-a-side football with a mission to provide an ideal platform for everyone to enjoy participating in organised football.

Join us on this exciting journey.
